【国際連携】豪連携校ニューカッスル大学公認サークル「GAC」との交流・連携を開始！

​【2026.9.1】

2026年9月1日、サブカル研究会GUILDの役員・メンバーである畠山翔太がオーストラリア・ニューカッスル大学を現地訪問し、同大学の公認サークル「GAC（Gaming & Anime Club）」の書記セバスチャン氏をはじめとする幹部メンバーとの対面ミーティングを実施いたしました。

​本学とニューカッスル大学の大学間協定関係を背景に、学生主導による草の根の国際交流として、今後の共同プロジェクトやコミュニティ交流に向けた連携を開始することとなりました。今後はオンラインプラットフォームを活用した定期的な交流や合同企画をはじめ、国境を越えたあたたかな繋がりを育んでまいります。

​[Activity Report] GUILD Begins Collaboration with Newcastle University’s GAC in Australia!

​In September 1 2026, Subculture Club GUILD member (Governor) Shota Hatakeyama visited the University of Newcastle in Australia to meet in person with the executive team of the Gaming & Anime Club (GAC), including Secretary Sebastian.

​Building upon the institutional relationship between our universities, both clubs have connected to begin student-led collaborations for future cross-cultural projects and community exchange. Moving forward, we look forward to building friendly, ongoing connections across borders through online joint events and collaborative activities.

​Lastly, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the executive team, and all the members of GAC for their warm hospitality, generous welcome, and wonderful exchange.
